Floating Ceiling
Isolated Ceiling System
Floating Ceiling systems suspend the ceiling on resilient isolation hangers so that it is structurally decoupled from the slab above.
Combined with an absorptive cavity infill and a sealed board build-up, the system substantially increases airborne and impact sound insulation between floors.
Features
Resilient hangers decouple the ceiling from the structure
Significant improvement in airborne and impact insulation
Cavity infill increases performance further
Suits gypsum board or acoustic board finishes
Adjustable drop to suit services
Engineered as a complete system detail
Applications
Cinemas, studios, rehearsal and music rooms, gymnasiums over occupied spaces, hotels, hospitals, and residential units requiring high separation from the floor above.
