Acoustic Spray

Sprayed Acoustic Coating for Seamless Sound Absorption

SR100.00SR50.00

AcouStick Acoustic Spray is a seamless sprayed-on absorptive coating applied directly to ceilings, soffits, and walls to control reverberation and improve acoustic comfort.

The system creates a continuous acoustic surface without visible joints, suspended grids, or conventional acoustic panels. Performance can be adjusted through the applied layer thickness, with Absorption Class A achievable at 40 mm according to the specified configuration.

The sprayed finish can follow curved, irregular, and complex architectural surfaces and can be colour-matched to RAL or NCS references, making it suitable for both acoustic and architectural applications.

Why Choose Acoustic Spray?

Seamless Acoustic Finish

The sprayed application creates a continuous absorptive surface without visible joints, panel lines, or suspension grids.

High Sound Absorption

Acoustic performance increases with applied thickness, providing high sound absorption for applications where reverberation control is required.

Class A Absorption Available

The 40 mm configuration can achieve Absorption Class A, subject to the complete system specification and applicable test configuration.

Suitable for Complex Geometry

The spray can be applied to curves, vaults, exposed soffits, irregular surfaces, and other architectural geometries where conventional acoustic panels may be difficult to install.

Flexible Colour Selection

The finish can be colour-matched to RAL or NCS references, allowing the acoustic surface to integrate with the architectural design.

Seamless Ceiling & Wall Treatment

The system can be applied directly to suitable prepared ceilings, soffits, and walls, providing a continuous acoustic treatment across large areas.

Sustainable Building Contribution

The specified system can contribute toward LEED, BREEAM, and WELL project requirements, depending on the overall building design and applicable certification criteria.

Free of Red List Raw Materials

The specified system is designed without Red List raw materials, supporting projects with material health and sustainability requirements.

How Does Acoustic Spray Work?

Acoustic Spray creates a porous sound-absorbing layer directly on the building surface.

When sound waves reach the sprayed acoustic coating, part of the sound energy enters the porous material. Friction within the material converts part of the acoustic energy into small amounts of heat, reducing reflected sound and helping shorten reverberation time.

Sound → Porous Acoustic Spray → Sound Energy Absorption → Reduced Reflection → Improved Room Acoustics

The final acoustic performance depends on the applied thickness, substrate, installation method, room geometry, frequency range, and complete acoustic build-up.

Acoustic Spray Thickness & Finishes

Our acoustic ceiling spray can be specified at different thicknesses depending on the required acoustic performance and architectural requirements.

10 mm Acoustic Spray

The 10 mm configuration provides a relatively thin acoustic treatment with a typical NRC of 0.55 and αw of 0.45.

15 mm Acoustic Spray

The 15 mm configuration provides increased sound absorption compared with thinner applications and can be selected where additional acoustic treatment is required.

25 mm Acoustic Spray

The 25 mm configuration provides a typical NRC of 0.85 and αw of 0.70, making it suitable for applications requiring substantial reverberation control.

37.5 mm Acoustic Spray

The 37.5 mm configuration can achieve Absorption Class B, providing a higher level of sound absorption for demanding interior acoustic applications.

40 mm Acoustic Spray

The 40 mm configuration provides a typical NRC of 0.95 and αw of 0.90–1.00, with Absorption Class A achievable according to the specified configuration.

Colour Options

The sprayed finish can be colour-matched to RAL or NCS references, allowing the acoustic treatment to blend with the surrounding architecture.

Acoustic Spray Price in Saudi Arabia

The cost of acoustic spray depends on several factors, including:

  • Applied thickness

  • Required acoustic performance

  • Total surface area

  • Ceiling or wall geometry

  • Substrate condition

  • Surface preparation requirements

  • Selected colour

  • RAL or NCS colour matching

  • Application height and access requirements

  • Project location

  • Required quantity

  • Project-specific installation requirements

Because acoustic spray systems are applied directly to the project surface, pricing varies according to the area, thickness, substrate, access conditions, and required finish.

AcouStick provides project-based pricing for acoustic spray in Saudi Arabia.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is acoustic spray?

Acoustic spray is a spray-applied sound-absorbing coating used on ceilings, soffits, and walls to reduce reflected sound and reverberation.

How does acoustic spray absorb sound?

The porous sprayed layer allows sound energy to enter the material, where acoustic energy is absorbed and dissipated, reducing the amount of sound reflected back into the room.

What is the NRC of acoustic spray?

The specified system can achieve an NRC of approximately 0.55 at 10 mm, 0.85 at 25 mm, and 0.95 at 40 mm. Actual performance depends on the complete system and test configuration.

What is the highest absorption class available?

The 40 mm configuration can achieve Absorption Class A, according to the specified acoustic performance data.

Can acoustic spray be applied to curved ceilings?

Yes. One of the main advantages of acoustic spray is its ability to follow curves, vaults, exposed soffits, and irregular architectural geometry.

Can acoustic spray be used on walls?

Yes. The system can be applied to suitable prepared wall surfaces as well as ceilings and soffits.

What colours are available?

The finish can be colour-matched to RAL or NCS references, allowing the acoustic treatment to coordinate with the architectural colour scheme.

Does acoustic spray require a suspended ceiling?

No. Acoustic spray is applied directly to a suitable prepared substrate, so it can provide sound absorption without requiring a conventional suspended ceiling or visible ceiling grid.

Where can acoustic spray be used?

It can be used in atriums, lobbies, auditoriums, offices, schools, car parks, industrial halls, swimming pools, museums, galleries, and other spaces requiring a seamless sound-absorbing finish.

How much does acoustic spray cost in Saudi Arabia?

The price depends on the applied thickness, surface area, substrate, geometry, colour, access conditions, and installation requirements. AcouStick provides project-specific pricing based on the required acoustic specification.
